Re: Let see pic's of your XR with killer wheels

Come to think of it, your later Xr's probably had that kind of petrol flap? Or did they all have flaps like that? I thought I knew a decent enough amount about Sierra's but your XR's throw up another load of differences to learn. The car was originally a 1987 Merkur XR4ti auto trans, no sunroof, wh...

I actually saw that late Saturday afternoon as I walked by to look at the Escort RS, figured it was broken and no one wanted it. Let's hope someone just picked it up for "safe keeping". If it doesn't turn up I may have a couple of old ones in the attic, I know I have a Sapphire one if that...

Like many others I still haven't been able to wrap my head around the idea of a FWD car with that level of power and performance but after owning a SVT Focus I can only imagine... need to confirm this but since it's being produced in such small numbers it may be eligible to be imported to the states...

Sorry to hear you had such a difficult time getting the car into the country. Here I was thinking your problem was with the transporter, I don't understand why Customs gave you such a hard time with this, according to the guidelines it should not have been considered a motor vehicle in the first pla...

Hey, that's Rakesh's old car... Did Ferenc get this for you or did you buy directly from the bailiff? Daz pulled the engine out of it for no apparent reason it's been sitting there since '07. Good luck with it, from what I remember it doesn'y need much. Nigel over at Draken actually built this car a...

I was running 215/35/18 with no modification to the cossie arches and no rubbing issues. Wheel offset (mine were 33mm) will ultimatly dictate what the maximum tire size can be, switching to coilovers may have allowed me to run 40 series tires.

I like the one with the solid blue down the side, that's actually an old Saleen SCCA Mustang paint scheme. I had the same paint job (Red/White) on my Mustang GT back in the early 90's.
