Re: Toolots sale

Thanks for this, Dean. Just received a 15$ 20v 1/4" impact driver (all the utility/power I need.) And a 17$ 40v good CFM rating leaf blower. $47 shipped. Haven't road tested these yet but they look solid. indeed the leaf blower feels a bit heavier and not quite as evenly balanced with battery a...

Re: What is this connector?

I only add that there was an IMON email Listserve enabling members to post information and ask questions that would be seen by all. The Listserve continued until less than a year ago.

Re: What is this connector?

That is cool, you are OG. What would be cool is if you had the entire email list imon stuff (text and images) in a single file. A word file or whatever. Then I can host it someplace and it can have a link in the FAQ section here. Right now I can only find certain parts (topics like taurus chime or ...

That's the best non-Cosworth grill I've seen. Kudos.

Re: Sudden Intermittent High Idle

Additional sudden high idle data points: the 3X it occurred on my '88 the engine had been fully up to temperature for quite a while.

Chacon a su gout.
There's no accounting for taste.

I very much like the original Merkur radio/cassette design. They remain installed in my four Merks.

I wretch on looking at many aftermarket unit designs.

Re: replace oil pan gasket in car?

The lift makes a difference for this job, but maybe most important is not rushing to completion if at all possible.

Should be the signature of all Merkur Owners' posts.

[Would make a perfect slogan for the next Merkur T-Shirt...]

Re: Sudden Intermittent High Idle

On my '88 which experienced 3X sudden high idles I had installed a new Ford/Motorcraft TPS with the gold plated pigtail/harness connections. I made no notations of dates for any of the foregoing. I'm certain I installed the new TPS not because of any idle issues but because the exiting TPS likely wa...

Re: Sudden Intermittent High Idle

Also keep in mind that the A/C can run in the winter. Defrost typically will turn on the A/C to dehumidify the air. Not surprising something re the A/C failed with it ready to engage so often. I generally keep the AC off after summer ends and very occasionally switch it On during dry outside air co...

Re: Heater core flush

My blower motor needs replaced and i haven’t got to it yet but at highway speeds i figured there would be enough air blowing through to at least put some heat out. Any advice on it? is it my blower motor cause no heat or maybe the blend door is stuck on cold? If so how would i get to that to manual...
