Unlikely you'd be reading this far if this was still about group size.

Seems you don't know that there are One Year and Two Year warranty Everstart batteries stocked on the Walmart racks along with high end flooded and AGM units

I recently had to replace the Everstart Plus battery (non AGM) in my A4.
What battery and from where did you buy it?

(I'm.betting an Everstart from Walmart.)

Re: Battery group size

Life Lesson No. 1: Buy from reputable origin and source.

Interstate, if you don't trust Everstart.

Saving $35‐50 on a yet-to-be-fully-proven AGM manufacturer and supplier isn't worth it compared to e.g. Interstate/Costco and Everstart/Walmart for follow-through on customer dissatisfaction.

Re: Battery group size

Dean keeps changing the sidelines and goal lines here. The basic question from the onset here was would the Weize...WEIZE Chinesium...battery last, even for a year or two or three. Brad's flooded Everstart Premium lasted 10.5 years. No doubt some Everstart AGMs have served for long periods. Dean can...

Re: Why does the Left-rear caliper fail rather than the Right?

The answer(s) are here: An interesting theory. It could also explain why the left rear wheel-well lip tends to rust out ahead of the right. I'm not so sure I buy it though. If anything I'd think there might be more salt piled up in the slush on the right side of the road as the crown of the road gr...

White connector is for a/c pusher fan; black connector is for radiator puller fan. O.P. : Those clearances on either side look snug but not so tight as to result in chafing as the M.D. radiator is held securely in place by the two lower mounts with vibration absorption/isolation from the upper and l...
