XR on Jalopnik!

Down on the Street features an XR this morning. I think it must be someone in the community. Here is a link:

The engine that was in it was not your typical Sierra Cosworth unit. The valve cover kinda looks like a Zakspeed unit. Anybody recognize it?

Cool site. By using it I found out that if I were on Jupiter I would weigh 425 pounds. And on the sun I would weigh almost two and a half tons! But in Uranus I'm a svelte 160. Don't you want me there? :P

Pete,
I would love to see some pictures of what the setback firewall looks like. Maybe get a description of what was needed to do it, too.
Thanks,
David

Pat, Great project! I hope this works out well. Have you figured out the Ackerman on the Mustang front suspension? If not, can you do us a favor? Point the suspension in the straight-ahead position and snap a pair of chalk lines that go through tie rod end and the ball joint on each side. See how fa...

Is the Free Market like an Ecosystem?

The recent meltdown of Wall Street has got me thinking big picture style today. It occurs to me that, as we see a dwindling of capitol resources and the dying off and consolidation of the big names on Wall Street (WaMu, Wachovia, Lehman Bros. etc.), it is not unlike the dying off that occurs in some...

Hey everybody. So, still no answer to my ???, huh? What a long strange trip it's been in such a short time. We've gotten far afield, with a whole lotta spices thrown in the Gumbo. Gotta love this Wide, Wide World of Web we got here. Did you know that Al Gore invented it, and John McCain is responsib...

I'm old enough to remember that all during the 90's Conservative pundits of all stripes were complaining about the fact that Bill Clinton was getting all the credit for the economic growth that happened while he was President. They were trying to tell us that the growth REALLY started under the firs...

Once again, let's focus up here. The title of this topic is "Country First" "Country First", you may recall, was the theme and the slogan of the GOP Convention this year. The House Republican leadership said that the reason they didn't vote for this act was because Pelosi hurt their feelings with he...

Did the Dems vote against it because Pelosi was mean to them, too? Oh, the nerve of that brazen creature! How could she! Focus, people, focus. If the Republicans wanted to vote against it for legitimate reasons, then fine. But they tried to spin it so that it was Pelosi's nasty words that FORCED the...
