I've reused them before, some have been fine, some leaked. If they surfaced the turbo flange then you should probably get a new one, but if it wasn't touched, most likely you will be fine. **Didn't see your second post before I posted. It is most likely the ECT. It sounds like the fuel enrichment is off in the extreme cold. The ECT plays a large factor in enrichment, typically the colder the temps get, the more it will show itself by hard start/rough running until warmed up.

Has anyone looked into the Explorer/Mountaineer rear calipers? They are decently sized and extremely abundant in the junkyards or auto parts store. I should have done measurements when I changed all my pads a couple months ago on my mountaineer.

Yup, that's where people usually block off. I've done the coke can thing as well as made up a block off plate. Both worked just fine.
