Sunroof Drains - Where are they

This is a response to a post on the MCA List. Hopefully others will confirm or correct me. Poster says ... he has 1/2" water at driver's feet after rainstorm. Assuming he didn’t leave the window or door open: I’d check around and INSIDE HVAC fan box. Recaulk after R&Ring HVAC fan controller. Keep t...

Re: Car Show Season

What do you use to secure the base of the flag pole? I'm thinking a spare tire wouldn't be heavy nor wide enough.

Re: Oil pan removal.

The manual does say to support engine from above. I was primarily letting readers know the manual says 2" drop and the cautionary note of rear bearing cap gasket material. I pulled my complete engine from top, so I don't know the accuracy of the 2" spec. The more I reflect on the time under my Scorp...

Re: Oil pan removal.

Per the Workshop Manual - you only have to drop the crossmember 2"
However, when removing the oil pan gasket, there are wedges in a sealing groove of the rear main bearing cap. You might have to remove the bearing cap to remove any remaining gasket material.

Good luck

The grommet either breaks or pops out of the hook preventing sufficient pressure on the lever to releas...

John
You mention cleaning the TB. Are you sure the connection of EGR pipe to TB is not leaking? I've also had a very thin crack in the small vac hose that connects to the EGR.

Re: Antenna Options

Out of curosity, I searched most of the forums and it appears VW is the popular one, however someone used a FUBA. And to note, there are wiring issues to the hatch and the antenna in defrost grid has it's share of complaints.
