Jake

But way less cool. It's like Robin's utility belt.

Actually, it sounds like an overly politically correct poster. :)

Re: Cossie Grill needed ASAP

Hey Fellas I've had this Merkur for 2 months now. It's time for an intercooler, but first I want a Cossie Grill. I live in Ontario, who on this continent other than BAT can get me a grill. I want to deal with a company not ebay. Can M2 get me one??? and there is a guy named Stu just outside of Toro...

Made it himself. I was there for the middle-end of it.

I don't know who Turbo Joe is, but if he'd keep his damn name off my fuel rail, I'd be happy.

If you're looking at the 5-spoke pony rims, no dice.
They will stick out way too far.

The rear ones? Well, let me just grab my Chicago Rawhide (SKF)numbers...
Outers = 19647
Inners = 16518
Bearings = BR24

I've heard that an outer works in place of the inner, but I cannot personally confirm this... yet.

Someone once converted a 1989 Ford Escort with a body kit from the Cosworth. The job was flawless - but the pictures have been long since lost.

Colin would remember glazz74's car from ERDT.

Well, I've got it kind of jimmy-rigged with zipties to see how everything fits.

I'm using the MX6 intercooler, 1988 Scricco rad, and 1993 Nissan Altima twin-fan cooling system.

I'll take some pictures tommorow of how it sits.

It is actually easier (if you are going to make a few sets, to jsut machine the whole thing rather than deal with the welds (cutting weld can be a bummer). Splitting the work between a good cnc and a lathe would be about the same cost as a welder. If anyone knows of a balljoint with the right heigh...
