WTB: dual belt serp crank pulley

Wondering if anyone has a either a single bolt dual serpentine belt crank pulley out of like an 88 turbocoupe or a similar 4 bolt pulley with hub(does the hub install with the oem single bolt?) from a 4cyl mustang with AC that they'd like to get rid of. Thanks!

Re: Recoloring/rejuvenating Interior upholstery?

Thanks Guys. Kinda' contrarian to think that "spray painting" fabric wouldn't gunk up, or look blotchy, but you're not the first I've heard tell it works. I see from their website that Leatherique is primarily for leather, but they do have a carpet dye. You used that on fabric SVT seats, or were th...

Re: Recoloring/rejuvenating Interior upholstery?

I used the leatherique system to redye some SVT Contour seats from midnight blue to black. That held up for years really well.

Re: Hagarty Merkur Article published

In 2011, Hagerty put the XR4ti on the "endangered" list, saying they insured fewer than 25 examples. I wonder if that has changed over the past 8 years? With the comments here re: values, I'm wondering if my pampered 37k mi car is underinsured. There were 12 Scorpios on their 2014 list. Some of the...

Re: tach issues, tried the usual suspects...

No but I have found that using a really good, adjustable heat soldering gun provides much better results than my cheapo $10 radio shack soldering iron.

Re: Outer Rear Beam Plate Bolts Loose

I broke one of those welded frame nuts last year when I refreshed my rear suspension. I should have sprayed more PB Blaster in there and worked the bolt back and forth instead of using a breaker bar. Had to cut the bolt and remove the nut through the small access hole on the side of the frame...

I've never personally used one but it sounds like you're talking about something like this:

Re: Trailer Hitch Installed on XR

It seems like the original universal hitch part number Reese 88002 is NLA. Is used the only option? has anyone else found a different model that works? It may have already been discontinued when I bought it years ago. I bought it from an individual who had never used it and was just clearing out so...

Re: Some Qs about LA3 (etc.)

When you say "cutout" are you talking about face-through-the-steering-wheel cutout, or missing/stumbling? I ask because I've experienced the latter with a couple of experimental used VAMs and blamed it on bad resistor tracks... like, a common VAM issue. What I've got going on with this new VAM is t...

Re: Some Qs about LA3 (etc.)

Maybe something is buried in here? https://www.merkurencyclopedia.com/EEC-IV/EECTEC10.PDF Also, I know it doesn't directly answer your question but I recently had a bad large VAM on my LA2. Lots of stumbling/cutout with any sort of aggressive driving. I was able to bend the pickup to a cleaner part ...

Re: Saginaw Power Steering Pump Conversion

Thanks for posting! What I've always wondered with these type of swaps is doesn't the steering rack equipment have some sort of pressure spec/requirement and are people matching it or just using whatever as long as it doesn't make noise? I think I've tried to find psi/flow specs of power steering pu...
