is this someone from MCA?
http://kalamazoo.craigslist.org/cto/5700736449.html Found this scorpio for sale. Engine and possibly the transmission swapped. Euro head lights and painted body cladding. Aftermarket wheels. Just wondering if it is one of us? I always wondered how ascorpio would feel like with the 2.3 turbo instead ...

I bought a former rental mustang
It is a limited edition Hertz Mustang(36 of 150). I was very lucky to get it. It is not often that these come up for sale so there was considerable interest from numerous people in purchasing this car and luckily I was there first. I can't wait for the weather to improve so I can get this thing out ...

Re: Anyone do interior updates?
If I come across another one of these shifters I will let you know. I do not know if it will fit our cars(I am fairly certain though) but I will still let you know.

Anyone do interior updates?
Has anyone put second generation Scorpio Ultima seats into the Merkur? I heard that they should fit bolt for bolt but I have not seen a completed swap. As the leather on my front seats are worn and in need of replacement I figured might as well ship a set or two of the newer Ultima seats back to the...

Daily Driver Switch
I live 4000 miles away from my Scorpio so it is not my daily driver. Even if I were at home with my Scorpio, I would still have something new for daily driving anyhow to keep miles low on the Scorpio. Well the time has come to switch my daily driver since the lease on the current one is expiring. Ou...

Re: Gt350 2.3 turbo
Seems like the things making this special is the red stripe on the exterior, the badge on the interior, recaro seats, and the TRX wheels. Everything else was available a standard GT model. Ford got in trouble with that car because GT350 was still owned by Shelby and thus why the moniker did not cont...

Re: spotted by my friend
They have asked about this car on Jalopnik as well. It is really making an impression I guess. http://oppositelock.jalopnik.com/spotted-in-the-wild-sierra-xr4ii-in-the-us-1540439870?url=http%3A%2F%2Fforum.merkurclub.com%2Fforum%2Fviewtopic.php%3Ff%3D19%26t%3D26519&text=Link+to+Merkur+Forum+with+...

Re: Sunroof Seal
I was lucky and got a sunroof seal from Rapido about a year ago. I do not know if he has them still though. After the replacement, I still had the noise, but at least not the leak. I actually noticed that the back edge of the sunroof was lower than the roof line. With that situation, air will hit it...

Re: My 1989 Scorpio
Hello fellow TDC Fiero/Merkur owner! I'd love to see some pics of your Fiero. Rob Sure. The Fiero is a pure toy through and through. With the 3.4L DOHC it is finally the car it should have always been. It does need wider tires to help put the power down though. It also needs a lot of work to the bo...

Re: My 1989 Scorpio
Nice! Seldom see anyone take a Scorpio over the top like this. 6) Hatch rattle might be a function of loose bumpers on each side of the hatch, but it's likely the plastic coating on the center lock catch on the body has worn off. Sometimes it's possible to tighten the bumpers enough to eliminate no...

Re: My 1989 Scorpio
I drove the car Saturday for about 300 miles. It hasn't had a trip like that in 9 years so I was not sure of what to expect. With all the recent work I was hoping for nothing major and that is what i got. I also got a fair bit of stares from people on the road. Of course with every drive I find new ...

Re: MMON members
Got to take the trip yesterday. The car runs great. Engine temp stayed at 1/4 mark the entire time. The last time it varied from 1/4 to 1/2. The fuel computer(not the most accurate) said I was averaging 27mpg for the trip, mostly highway, mostly flat, stayed at the speed limit, and used cruise at al...
