Re: No fuel pump......

Do your dash warning lights come on when you turn the key to on?
Like the oil and battery lights.

Good write up in the above link.
I would suggest spacing out the bracket near the valvecover about 3/8" to 1/2".

Re: Rough idle

Did you monitor the VAM voltage while idling?
If it fluctuates, it could indicate a weak VAM spring.

I think it's around .25v at idle.

Re: 87 Rosso Red stockish build

Got the stance right and suspension aligned. Currently collecting parts for a t5 and supra diff swap. Even made it to a few car shows, one with another XR in attendance. http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/a495/thille1081/6B7B6CEC-0AD3-4208-8418-B791F907C21A_zpsjml1clms.jpg http://i1280.photobucket....

Re: Alignment Question

I just lowered mine about 1.5 inches. In the rear I had about 1/4" total toe out before and about 1/8" total toe in after lowering. Between shimming and slotting the beam mounts a got the camber to -1 from -5. All my heights are the same from side to side. You may have a bent STA. For the ...

Thanks, but unfortunately they look way better in the pics than in person,
I still need to do a final sanding on them.
I also need to drop the rear beam to slot the holes for alignment so I don't wreck my new tires.

If the car is making boost but lacking oooomph, try unplugging the knock sensor.
Just listen closely for detonation.

Re: Fuel line AN adaptors

I used the Russell fittings with the plastic on mine, but the one that has the threaded collar looks like it would work better. I believe it's 5/16" on both ends on the supply and the return is 1/4" at the rail and 5/16" on the frame. http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/a495/thille108...

Re: 87 Rosso Red stockish build

Remote TFI made a huge difference. Had a random misfire at operating temp. Idle is now smooth at any temp. Got my new tires mounted, just have a bit more sanding on the wheels. Trying to decide between blacked out centres or center caps. Also thinking about lowering it about an inch. http://i1280.ph...
