yeah, i'm already thinking that, but it will only take a few minutes to buzz off that rust and see i can always get one if that fails.

White would be coolant or condensation. Blue would be oil indicating possible bad valve stem seals. The coolant burning could be either from the turbo going or a head gasket on it's way. Do a compression test to verify. test instructions are in the service manual right? never done one before :shock:

your best bet is to use carfax, it will tell you at least where the car was last registered at.
