My car is pinging doubled checked the timing and found out my spout connector is having no effectplugged in or not please help

So just got done doing tune up, followers, valve springs, starter, starter selonoid, tps, pcv, and all was good drive the car 40 miles runs like crap go to my grandparents pull the valve cover and one of the followwers was sitting in side the valve cover with a bid ol valley ground into it. No looks...

what was your symptoms i have a after boost issue but it is not a erratic idle more of a missing situation. I am not going thru coolant at all but woulnd hurt to rule it out.

so replaced the valve springs and still having the issues. I leaning towards a fuel issue i can smell unburnt fuel after. How to i test the vam to rule it out and what else can i check?.

found mine evidently if you dont secure your plug wires they will catch under the return stop

ya but if it is a weak valve spring why would it happen all of a sudden

so discontcted my intercooler to rule that out. It is still doing it i get in to boost it starts stuttering about 8 lbs let off and it missis for a good couple minutes untill i let it sit there and idle then everything back to normal no issues but soon as i get into boost same issue. Plugs are at 32

makes sense ok back to stock till i get my bypass valve

no that i think of it i think it is the trailer hitching would explain the sound that i hear that sounds like a external wastegate closing....The vam makes sense now. Now why wanst i getting the issue before the intercooler. Does the lenght of piping cause more boost getting backed up?

i have not installed a bov/bypass yet

i just did all new lifters and followers car wasnt doing it till bout 2 weeks ago. Could it be intercooler related? Noticed it more after intercooler installation.

when i get into boost and rlease the gas the engine starts missing really bad. I dont think the plugs are getting blown out any ideas. Beside that runds awsome

thanks worked i will try that cause the iac worked fine with the other tps

i will check the iac i have cleaned it once but will do it again. And the throttle is returning i popped the hood and double checked when it was idileing high
