I-40 runs through 8 states... Where is the car located?
EDIT - I just searched exit 417 and it looks like TN. Unfortunately, too far for me.

Re: Carlisle 2020 Hotel - Radisson
I've got my room reserved. I figure the drive from Nevada will be worth it for the 35 year anniversary. Now I just have to stop making build changes and get the car done.

Please keep us posted on what you find. Have you run into the exhaust police yet?

Re: No fuel pressure, pumps are good...
You need to determine if you have an issue with your pressure gauge and/or schraeder valve. I suggest you pull the fuel supply line off at the rail and see if you’re getting any fuel when you cycle the key on. Also, check voltage at the pumps.

Re: No blink codes at all from ECU via DLC and STI connectors
I was referring to the "test hookups" picture with the 2 diagrams on it. If you're trying to use a test light, insert one end into the test plug and attach the other end to battery positive. I've never used a test light to check codes so I just tried it on one of my cars. Test Light1.jpg

If you’re using a test light, follow the diagram on the left.

Any SLC Members, My Son Needs Help
Any Salt Lake members on the board? My son is in Salt Lake attending the University of Utah. His 89 XR started acting up yesterday and I can't get there until next Saturday. The car is stumbling and hesitating under boost. He can drive it but has to stay out of boost.
Thanks,
Dan

Jerry,
I see the problem - your email on the Carlisle convoy page is listed as soneborn@stlmo.com. I'll email you at the correct address.
Thanks,
Dan

Jerry Chandler's I70/I76 Convoy To Carlisle
Does anybody have any information on the I70/I76 convoy that Jerry Chandler coordinates each year? If anybody from the Northwest is interested, I'm planning to drive from Northern Nevada to Denver the day before the convoy is scheduled to leave. I tried to contact Jerry but my email was rejected. If...

Re: Rear Main Seal Install
I go to my local Autozone and rent their blind hole puller tool. There's an insert in the kit that fits almost perfectly inside the throwout bearing and makes removal a breeze. https://www.autozone.com/test-scan-and-specialty-tools/parts-puller-installer/great-neck-blind-hole-puller-set/695118_0_0 I...
