You might want to hit Jeff @ Merkur Midwest (http://www.merkurmidwest.com) up to see if he has one.

Thanks, I looked at his catalogue. He wants $175, for the bare bones of one. I let the whole body go for $100. !!.....Roger.

Re: A lesson in stupid

As stated it's rusting BADLY. It's the first one I've seen, as well. I cannot determine the reason and, can only assume it's poor work at the factory as the car is bog standard, apart from the rear exhaust section......Roger.

A lesson in stupid

In the last 5 years I have had 2 white parts cars through my hands and scrapped them with their good tailgates intact. Now mine is rusting badly at the bottom corners of the glass. I'm usless on bodywork. Can anyone tell me what is the best course of action, to rectify this act of stupidity ?.....Ro...

Re: HELP.! Body parts needed.

Hi Luke, Heh, you're welcome. As said I was able to get someone who had bodywork experience and, ended up paying him $800.00, to do the welding work, plus most of the 'bashing'....You will be able to see the weld points by just looking at the donor fender. If there is any difference, which I doubt, ...

Hi Ninja and Otis, I spent a very cold winter in Blue Grass, back in '97/'98. A crossroads with 2 bars, a bank, a general store and a gas station. Muscatine, 1 bar.....Roger.

Re: gauge cluster

Hi DirtyMerk85,
I've got the standard T9 but, I thought there was no problem with the speedo, when swapping in a T5. However if your is either fast or slow, I would suggest, as I did, testing against a GPS and then moving the needle to suit.........Roger.

Re: setting base idle

My fully stock '88, is the same. It does idle but, the screw is not in contact. The problem is, that when warmed up, the idle will, sometimes, hang up around 1600 rpm. Apart from that, it seems to run fine. I, too would like to know, what I should do........Roger. Hi DirtyMerk85, Still haven't put ...

Re: gauge cluster

I think that they all do that, at least i know mine did when i changed out my speedo. Thats actually why mine reads kind of fast because when i tried to get it back in i ended up knocking the needle off and when i replaced it i had it too far offset. Hi all, Didn't realise I hadn't finished up on t...

Re: Heading PNW--Chicago to Seattle--Go West Young Man

Hy Jeff, I just ordered a cigarette lighter socket, from you, SOOOO, it's time for the silly question.....Both needed replacing, managed to get out the rear one, somehow, without breaking anything but, how do I remove the front one, the little light fitment, prevents just pulling it straight out and...
