Re: smoke at idle.
Well just took the car for a early morning drive. Car started to spit and sputter then blew a intercooler hose. When I got out to check it I found that my valve cover is leaking oil. I only have the boost turned up to 13.5 lbs. Not sure what is going on but I think a little smoke at idle is the leas...

Re: smoke at idle.
But if I had bad valve stem seals wouldn't oil seap down into the cylinder When it was parked? I have no smoke when the car first starts. It will start to smoke after about 3 min of running

Re: smoke at idle.
Instead of the lines going to a vacuum/boost source, the go strait to vented tank.

Re: smoke at idle.
I changed the seals, with the head off and a ford valve tool. Never had a problem before, which makes me beleave it is from somthing new. Should take the one way valve off the block breather if it's hooked to a catch can?

Re: project: slow and steady....
ok so after 2 years and 6 pages back i thought i would post some of the progress that has been made. i test a custom upper to see if i liked it and it held vacuum/boost. i also pared it with a ported lower. http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/gg566/joshuatreegrowsnorth/Mobile%20Uploads/2012-08-21_16...

Ms3 power problems
So I'm all wired up and put to gether. But when the innovative lc2 is wired to the 12v power it makes fuel pump relay, injectors, coils, to continously click when I turn the key to power. It seems like every place I wire it up it has the same problem. Any suggestions on how to wire it? Thanks

Re: project: slow and steady....
Those are Huckleberries, one of the fine perks of living in the PNW. I checked the power to the wires when key was on start, and they had power. But the control wire going to solenoid had nothing. Yesterday I went and got a start button and installed it in the coin tray. I kinda like the idea of not...

Re: broken bolt
Damn I never knew that, Thanks for the good info. I guess I will be using heat and do my very best on drilling the bolt out. I don't really want to take the whole crank out if I don't have to. Im not to good at sealing an oil pan.....
