Cossie housing or not you'll only make 300hp with a stock turbo.

A quality dirty filter will be better than a clean cheap one.

Notice that my GSX-R 1000 (sold) and my Jaguar say to change the filter every SECOND oil change.

There are lots of filter sites ou there that compare the FL1-A filters. Choose as you see fit.
