Thanks. the valves ticking went away after about 5 miles.. now its quiet. so I guess it was just the dry cylinder head, maybe the assembly lube working itself away also.

Hi all, :cheers Remember me? I been busy. one of my merkurs burnt down a few years ago, I still have my yellow XR... heres a refresher from back when it was white-ish https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5BWi3NeXbk the replacement for the burnt merkur is a 2008 turbo Subaru. my yellow merkur is a garage...

me... I'm a motorcycle rider.

I used to ride a lot with friends and stuff, until I seen a lot of bad things happen.. now I just commute, because I get 50 miles per gallon.

I have 48,000 miles on my bike, and I bought it brand new in 2010... it was a 2009 katana.
