No XR's right now... I still have the TA, but I'm thinking of selling it. I picked up an Evo X GSR as a daily driver, but the XR bug is starting to bite me again... I'm thinking of selling the TA, buying a house with a nice garage and starting a fresh XR build. :cheers

Wow its that bad? I haven't really been following the boards. I didn't realize that the car would light up a stock t/c clutch. Have you taken it to the dyno? I'd rock the spec that pete mentioned. What's in there now is a valeo, so avoid that if possible apparently. Changing a clutch on a t-5 is cak...

I have an '85, and my temp gauge sensor is not the Unobtanium "purple ring" sender, which came on later models (not sure when), therefore my temp gauge barely moves up unless the car has gotten really warm-- whether just getting off the freeway and into heavy traffic, or long periods of i...

If you can rent/buy/borrow/steal a cherry picker it will make your life so much easier to swap a v8 or any engine into the xr. So that's all there is to it, huh. I just get a picker and swap one engine out for the other? Excellent!!! Way to be with the dick comment, I've found that in all my...

How will a stang ds with a tightly toleranced adaptor vibrate but adding 3" of foreign material won't? The steel stang ds will almost always vibrate somewhere in the running range, the winning combo here has and always will be the Haulsee adaptor with the FMS AL driveshaft... Cost wise its abou...

Play with the hazard button, move it up and down slowly, if it you get the turn signals to work, take it apart and take the spring out. Thats what I had to do to get mine to work, now I have to pull the hazard button up instead of letting the spring do it.
