My gosh, I haven't been on here in awhile and this is the first I've heard of this. Such sad news. Jim truly is a legend among the Merkur community. May he rest in peace, and may God be with his family.

As always, I want to take a moment and thank the MCA for all they continue to do, and for putting together yet another great Merkurs at Carlisle event! My son and I had an absolute blast, and so did my folks, who continue to attend every despite not owning a Merkur of their own. Bravo MCA!

I did not take my Merkur to Carlisle as I was only available on Saturday. It was nice to see and talk to some of the folks that helped me with parts here. I had a 1992 Ford Tempo GLS Sedan with the Vulcan 3.0 V6 and an automatic (was my mom's car before I took it over, hence the auto).
