Overboost ?

grondie,

Nope! I think you have a bad boost control solenoid. Is it the original or do you have an aftermarket? Is the 12volt plugged it?

jay_tibo,

What I would do is pull each vacuum line off the "T" by itself and clean it out. Start with the one that runs from the vacuum "T" to the upper intake, don't forget the one that goes to the boost guage!

boominrick, Code 84 and 34 are EGR codes. 81,82 and 83 are thermactor codes you don't have a thermactor. All these odd codes are caused by the LA3 ECU. Code 77 is a dynamic response code meaning you didn't blip the throttle correctly when running the KOER test. Code 74 is the BOO test, brake on and ...

Electrical Gremlin: A/C and Radiator Fan

hEaT,

The switch that controls the heater fan/AC pusher fan, is located on the dash. Pushing the switch in should turn off pull it out to turn the AC pusher fan on. Try that and let me know what happens.

NEED HELP! electrical gremlins have invaded!

toastersauce,

The starter solenoid will normally be "open" until you apply 12 volts then it closes and the starter engages. Re-fill your battery and see if it will take a charge. To test the solenoid jump from the big terminal to the other big terminal and see if that will engage your starter.

preston240sx,

Along with what Brad said, you also need to clean your EGR valve. When was the last time you had an O2 sensor installed in your XR. You also want to make sure your timing is dead on!
