Again and again, why does it have to be an IRS. If you want it to last (especially with a TT LOL) you should go strait axel. The universal kit will cost ya just as much as a Quaife and then you just gotta worry about your center section/gears and fabbing.

Maybe you need to stroll on over to Turboford and see how many guys are putting down 400HP. And for way less than $8k. I don't know where you got that. LOL! Dude, the ratio of 400HP 2.3T to 5.0 is like 1:500. So ya, you can throw money at anything and make it fast but is it really worth making it f...

Re: Mustang 5.0 engined XR4Ti

350-400 is way easy to do with the 2.3, and youll still be able to fit your hands around it to work on the damn thing. Ummm... actually, NO! You'll have to spend in excess of $8000 in parts and still never achieve 400HP. Maybe 350 to the fly wheel but not to the wheels. LOL! I don't understand why ...

Good question. I don't really consider maroon red and I have one of those to look at now in '88 form. I've never seen the rosso red in mono '87 form either. No really my cup of tea. Soooo, I guess what I'm saying is if you have a red XR, preferably 87 with brake light built into the spoiler, ...

Pic Req -> Stock 87 Red

I would like some hi-res pics of an 87 red XR in complete stock form. Stock rims and interior, tails and headlights.

Some good angles of the car and cool back grounds welcomed.

The injectors are off a 2.2 Lebaron. I thought it was... They are a bit higher than the brown top stockers and though they drop in place they do need to be regulated with AFPR so that just defeats the purpose for me.

Just thought I'd update this.

Thanks to those of MS & MCA.

Mopar Injectors

I'd like to know what direct replacement injectors made for or by Mopar fit on the XR without any mods or spacers or anything. They are around 35lbs - 37.6lbs.

I'm thinking it's off a 2.2 Lebaron but it's been 8+ years since I've bought them.

A part no. or make/model would be great.

Thanks

Sorry Brad/Nate. I speak of personal opinion. There are more than a few cars running over five double o'h's but at what expense in regards to power and reliability and cost. The more and more I look at the Cossie stuff the more and more it just seems to make sense. Virtually, most if not all the stu...
