Sorry, too busy to hang around here. Working on a 68 Firebird soft top.... for the next 2 years. Working on the 911 motor. Fixing the house, thinking of a second baby.

Alax, you found a job yet? :D I wish I had time like you.

svo855 is correct. Low impedence drivers will hold low and high. You can also go ballast resistors but that's another deal all together. ahhh... those Wolf 3D's back in the days.

Most older cars had them in the rear. They all had tubes that went no where.

Stock 2.3 VE= about .75-.80 without boost. That high??? I've always thought that our engines flowed less than most stockers. :? For what I remember some years back. I did a calculation by using the stock VAM voltage numbers vs. air flow at a certain rpm. Subtract that to the size of the motor (100%...

The drain hose doesn't really drain much of anything. It's just incase any water goes inside the motor from the metal shaft. If there is enough water buildup then can reach the motor inside. You'll be lucky to see an once per year out of that hose.

The car should run ruff at idle and revving. But it shouldn't make any metal noises like a spun bearing or shot valve. It will also ping under boost. Check the compression. Unplug the sparkplug wire with the lowest compression. It should make little difference. If it gets even worse then it might be...

Normally people just drop the inline and bypass the secondary pump.

The factory stuff in known to hold over 300HP.

You can get the mustang tank kit.

A headgasket is straight forward but a little time consuming if being done the first time. It's pretty cheap. You need an intake gasket kit, head gasket and valve cover gasket.

Be careful and make sure that it's the head gasket and not a piston or head problem.

Block- Does it have the tap for the oil return from the turbo? It goes under the turbo to the block. A NA block doesn't have the tap for it. You would need to tap the oil pan

Head- The outer intake ports look like upside down "D"s
