Everything looks really good here...
Nice work!
Thank you, yes I made it out of various stainless elbows, I've wanted a tig welder for quite some time so this was my excuse for getting one

Re: Just got a '86 Merkur

Finally got the new engine/turbo fired up and I'm liking the passenger side engine bay, just not the driver side cluster f@*k! winter project coming to clean that up.

Re: Discounted Advance Registration for Carlisle Ford Nationals

Yep, that is going to be painful. Maybe a topic for another thread, is this a microsquirt? Could you do a flex fuel sensor? I know its a bit late now for Carlisle. Yes, Thanks to both of you.

Now I have to plan my route finding the E85 gas stations at about every 200 miles. :(

Re: Discounted Advance Registration for Carlisle Ford Nationals

Is the group area parking reserved once you're registered or is it first come?

Re: Xr4ti PiDash

Looks good, I'd be concerned about seeing it on bright sunny days while wearing shades 8)
Also I think it might be a good idea to use some kind of vibration limiter like foam or soft rubber for the display itself.

Re: clutch fork too close to bellhousing

I think you'll find there's a very small number of people who have used the hydraulic bell from the TC in the XR. That said, spacing out the pivot bolt (in moderation) is a valid approach with the mechanical clutch; I don't see any reason why you couldn't do that with the hydraulic clutch. I was ho...

clutch fork too close to bellhousing

I'm putting together a hydraulic clutch setup, I have a turbo coupe bell housing, new clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing. The issue is as seen in the picture, there is only 3/16" travel to spare before pressing in on the clutch, doesn't seem right, but I'm puzzled as to what needs to c...

Re: Just got a '86 Merkur

Going to install a T5 and it has a hydraulic clutch setup so... since I'm going to need a hydraulic clutch pedal setup why not just add dual master cylinders at the same time, how much work can it be, right. brakebefore.jpg brakecutout.jpg brakemockup.jpg https://www.simflame.com/temp/brakefinish.jp...
