Once you get that thing going, bring it out to DFW for a meetup!

Nice meeting you Friday, Glenn. Next time I'll have to bring a 6-pack so we can chat a little more.

Going to be installing a NACS bumper soon. Picked up a whole kit two weeks ago pretty cheap.

DFW area
Who's around? I know there are at least 5 of us.
In an area this large, surely there are a few others out there.
We should definitely show up at Cars and Coffee in Plano or Fort Worth some time.

Ha, yeah. That's walking distance. Something we always do when we're there too. Except it's usually the other direction down to the lake.
If you send me your email I'll give you a yell the next time we head over.

We're in Azle, but my wife's parents live at Campbell and Jupiter. Over there about once a month or so.

I'd go down to Ennis to meet some folks. Not too bad of a drive from Dallas or Fort Worth....or even Houston for that matter.

Re: Merkur XR4Ti heavier then Sierra XR4i
Pretty sure my 951 engine wasn't all aluminum. Maybe, though. Could have just been the cast iron manifold and wastegate pipes, but that thing was stinkin' heavy.

My 944 turbo engine weighed the same as my LS1 that I replaced it with.

That's what I figured.
I've cleared room in my budget to get one.
