Check some corvette forums. The guys their are able to make it hook up good on a irs. You might have to make a sway bar simular to the front. You want your irs to simulate a solid axle. From my understanding on anti swat, you would need to make a sla rear suspention. The XR'S rear irs is kinda crude...

I have seen sla kit for fox body. If they can make it for that car. I don't see it being that hard to do it to the XR.

After doing lots of research over the years. SLA suspention is better at maintaining camber thru the travel of suspension. You need 15mm hub centric spacers. I have the same wheels on my car. 49mm offset is to much for the front. The rear will clear. 15mm spacers will put your offset to 34mm. Why not rotate the bearing housings and switch the left with the right(note keep the flanges on their proper sides). This effectively should make your calipers face the front upper position.
