I was reading that by installing a large cone filter and removing the bov could cause the chatter effect. My new set up moved the filter to be mounted on the big vam versus down into the fender and the bov is still in it's place. I wonder if that did the trick. Like I was saying before no power loss...

getting turbo chatter after LA3 install
took my weapon out to stretch the legs and after a run on the freeway I noticed the chatter. Now on the way to the run it was normal with bov making the usual noise then close to home I heard the chatter. I love that sound makes me feel like I'm driving a cossie from my vids but should I worry. Evey...

regarding the T9 strenght issues
Just wondering if the input shaft bearing in the t9 was replaced with a stronger one would it help in the longevity. That's if there is such a thing. My car is growing roots in the garage and the t5 right now is not possible. I have a new centerforce clutch in the tranny now and so I hope there is s...
On my way to work I had the chance to race an srt from a set of lights and out of the hole I left him no problem. Then when shifting to second the car boged (don't know why) and buddy passed me. Shifted to third and power was back and I was back in the race. I pulled along side to see if he wanted t...

thanks for the reply guys. I'm currently running at 15 psi and ya the sloppy drivetrain sounds good after all it's an 88. I'll try backing of the bov as well maybe that'll help as well. But alas as a lucky xr4 owner I have more problems, this time tranny which is rattling now when I release clutch a...

trailer hitching with hks bov
I installed a saab 9000 ic with a hks ss bov and I'm getting alot of trailer hitching even though the bov is adjusted to max. I know that some use bp valves and others with bov with no problems is there something I'm missing out. Bov is located before tb, any advice would be helpfull. Thanks.....Peter

clicking noise in the tranny any ideas
it seems when I push in the clutch the clicking stops, release the clutch and it's back. I think it could be my release bearing but I replaced it along with clutch about a year ago. I haven't really done any crazy driving because of the snow up here in Barrie so I don't know why it would be back. I'...
