Re: WTB - an XR4TI stick or automatic

I don't really think these issues were ever solved, other than discontinuing the car. I'd also say to think hard, if you say the car can't have issues, you're probably looking at the wrong car to own. They're 30 years old give or take, they had issues from the beginning and they wont go away. Either...

Re: Ford Granada Scorpio 1994 hatchback

Interesting to see...These are the seats I have in a car I just picked up, if anyone is interested in a mint set of seats in the US.
Also note this has a speedo in mph rather than kph.

Re: Scorpio / Sierra plenum and throttle body parts / questions

Should be near the front of the block around the timing cover. Curious if the high compression block ever made it into the USA. Nor sure if it did, but I know very little about Merkur. Reference: http://www.ford-ig-wriedel.de/technik/v6_motoren_s2.htm Heads have the casting number on the side. 86tm...

Re: Bob's Log, Bearing Carrier, Headlight Seals, Rack Bushings, AOS, Harnesses

Is the Bob's log the one that the bolts don't totally clear on without some special attention?
I may be interested in that, but the Rapido Rack bushings for sure...

I admire all the work you've done on this, Brad, especially the exquisite documentation. I wish I had that kind of spare time.
Agreed, documentation here and then a final parts list...

Re: Won't idle after a short drive

Guess I'm just speaking with my experiences mostly lol. Thought I read through out the years people having idle and missing issues. Didn't mean no disrespect or nothing, thanks to everyone for all the help. None taken, just saying, I haven't heard about issues or inherent miss-fire just because. Us...

Re: Won't idle after a short drive

So far I have checked the fpr it holds a solid 25psi. checked the vam and seems to be doing right, looked over the vacuum lines and can't find anything. Not saying this is the issue, but 25psi is way too low. Pull vacuum line off when idling, set fuel pressure to 38-42psi, put vacuum line back on. ...

Re: Shaky

Hmmmm, this actually makes me wonder if mine has the same issue.
Mine is nowhere near this bad, only does it when I brake.
Front brakes are new, tie rod ends are new, but still does.
I was thinking control arm bushings, but maybe inner tie rod ends?
