Re: 1989 XR4Ti 5sp blk on blk resto project

So it's $1000 for the car, please elaborate on the $811 as of this month? The extra $811 back registration tax thing only applies if it goes to someone else in the state of California. Ok, thats what I was thinking...just that it doesn't mention California, or any location of the car in the ad.

Hey guys, long-time listener first-time caller here so please forgive my formatting ignorance. In regards to the bcs being bypassed or replaced with a MBC above, can I simply unplug bcs and swap with mbc? Or do I need to communicate my intent to the ECU in some way? Thank you for your help You guys...

Re: bellhousing pattern/rear engine

You ever notice that the stuff on Craigslist really close to where you live is about four times the price for the same stuff on Craigslist located "out in the boonies"? I'll apologize beforehand... No offense to those who live "out in the boonies" in the first place. Come to thi...

YMMV

Here is everything one would need (except the blood, sweat, and tears) to convert a Scorpio to an SHO Scorpio...for $750 As usual everything is so far away from me... https://memphis.craigslist.org/pts/d/olive-branch-a4ld-transmission-ford/7667023229.html https://peoria.craigslist.org/pts/d/grovela...

Re: bellhousing pattern/rear engine

Is there anywhere known that may have the pattern for the bellhousing to engine face/drawing dimension that someone here may know of? If I want to make a flange to mount a different trans, or use different engine with the original Scorpio trans? Seems like you wouldn't need to make any special adap...

rear of the engine? where the bellhousing mounts to the engine in the Scorpio as far as I know.
I haven't seen an engine where the bellhousing mounts to the front of the engine, front engine drawing, dimensioned.

Personally I would not even consider starting a new project that had no title or a bad windshield. It seems like there are some good solid "shells" in the classified section. Did you consider going that route? It might make things much easier. I honestly just chose the cheapest manual rwd...
