I agree that the weight savings is ridiculous comparing the stock Mustang to the aluminum one on the 87-93 cars. A while back I read about the aluminum d/s hitting the e-brake components on the XR, did you have to do anything to fix that? The diameter of the stock vs aluminum Mustang d/s is quite a ...

I am doing the T5 swap and Im using the adapter for the drive shaft that would fit the mid to late 80s two piece drive shaft. Adapter for a 2 piece drivershaft?? Did you mean to say the adapter for the 1 piece Mustang driveshaft? Here's an interchange for the 1 piece drivehsaft that might help: 197...

Do it! I think it would be cool to shorten it up allowing more room for piping.
Considering the way the cars make heat, I'm pretty confident one could get away with a smaller rad.
