I'd bet on a bad master cylinder, or leaking wheel cylinders. The s/s lines on my XR4 made the pedal MUCH stiffer!

Better get used to those hoses blowing!! :roll: They don't last long at all in that inferno around the turbo. Mine blows a hose like every couple months!

If you want a cool van, I've got a 1969 Dodge a100 for sale with a 318, 727AT, and 89,xxx original miles. Not very aerodynamic, so pretty poor gas mileage, :roll: but if you can afford it, it'll take you anywhere you wanna go!!

It sounds like you're missing pieces. When I bought mine, it didn't have any brackets either. I made some out of Ranger bumper brackets, and drilled two holes in the bottom of the bumper bar. The only thing not too obvious that I'd worry about is a strong battery hold down. Other than that, if the car is in good shape, it should fly through tech.
