Any body know the weight of the stock hood, a FG hood and a CF hood? I know the stock one seemed to weigh about a ton when I had it off last winter. If no one knows then I'll weigh it this winter.
It sure would help the handling if we could get weight out of the front end.

I agree with Chris but would go one step further and not mould in the openings for the Cossie vents. These things are expensive and not everyone may want them or be able to afford them. With a plain XR hood it would be too easy to cut holes for the vents if you wanted. Also, FM has a good point on t...

Yes if it is balanced properly. But then this would fix your current problem too if your runnning a 1 piece shaft. I have the same problem on my T5 conversion as I'm running an old crappy unbalanced 'stang 1 piece shaft. I will be replacing this with with an aluminium 'stang shaft this winter. Wilky

Lopts of folks have done this and most seem to have either made up their own custom bracket or modified the A/C bracket. It has been stated that you can use the bracket from a 94 Ranger but this seems to be complicated by the serpentine belt set up and the need to also use the ranger alternator. I h...
