The paint looks really good in the pics but it has scratches and swirl marks and a lot of tiny chips on the front but i talke...

I ended up getting a clutch from Advanced Auto Parts....it's "from the makers of ZOOM Clutches" and was $125 before tax....the guy i got the car from said that's a fantastic price, as he gets clutches for it at-cost for $128. As for plug wires i had planned on getting Taylor or MSD (common ignition ...

Re: Air compressor regulator valve for MBC?

The car that's running one is twin turbo and makes almost 30psi with it. A regulator valve - ANY regulator valve - does not in any way "make" pressure. It only REGULATES the amount of air pressure that the turbocharger produces. Yeah i got that...i'm just saying the car/turbo make 30psi...and he's ...

It came with a brand new silicone vacuum hose kit too with a receipt for $107 so i'm pretty pleased. I also got a set of the spoke/lace looking rims wit...

Cool thanks guys....i do search before hand but what i've found is a lot of the topics are kind of abbreviated and the descriptions are really geared towards the more experienced people so i sort of don't understand some of it. I'm trying to not post a bunch of noob topics and get on people's nerves...

Help with FMIC, size and where exactly to mount it

I read in the tech articles that you can pretty much use any intercooler you can get your hands on that'll fit....is there any common car you can get one from that is known to fit, and where/how are you guys mounting it? I've seen some pics of them mounted behind the grill with the 2 inner driving l...

Welcome. When doing an ignition tune-up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor), I am sure most here will agree, these cars really respond better to Motorcraft parts than any other. Yeah i'm pretty much diehard Ford parts whenever i can afford it (sorry but i'm not spending $85 for a power steering pump reservo...

Air compressor regulator valve for MBC?

I was talking to a buddy of mine about putting together a do it yourself MBC, and he mentioned that a friend of his told him about this: http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/wolfpdf/JWTMANUALBOOSTCONTROLLERINSTRUCTIONS.PDF He said it's a typical air compressor regulator valve and he can get'em for FREE ...

Awesome guys thanks for the advice. The car has sat for a while but i'm not sure how long THIS owner has let it sit. He said he bought it from a lady who parked it under a car port for a number of years. It's actually really clean (i think so anyways....i'll post pics this weekend) and the guy who h...

A Mustang guy joins the Merkur ranks...

Hey guys....i'll be picking up my very first 2.3 turbo as well as my first Merkur probably this weekend. It's an 88 XR4Ti, a black 5 speed with grey cloth interior. It's super clean....i'll post pics when i get it and buff it up. I'm a total noob when it comes to these engines and obviously the cars...
