I will add my story too I guess... My heat is sucking too. I have tried two different new t-stats,I have no heater valve under the hood,I pulled the plastic cover off the cowl and ziptied the heater box door shut since the vacuum actuator was busted,motor and rad are brand new so it aint a flush fix...

All I can say is without a doubt is my ring gear was not modified at all and no spacers of any kind were used. Very strange.The diff was ground for clearance and so was the inside of the case.I did not put any clips back on the stubs but may do so cuz in some coasting situations I can here a slight ...

OK....I have been burning up the phones tryin to track down some better info on my Posi. I found out it is a Auburn Positrac diff and it was bought new for a 88 Camaro that was a v6 car and the guy swapped in a BBC. He never installed it cuz the car burned to the ground before he got to the rear end...

Yep,just went outside and tried it! Push the dial in and whoosh!

Was thinkin it would work great in the summer to help cool my rad and IC in the staging lanes at the track.

I swear I have "discovered" about 10 new things I didnt know about these cars in the last week! Gotta love it!

Would all the a/c stuff have to be hooked up for that to still work?

My a/c stuff is long gone but it would be cool if I could still turn the fan on like this at will to help draw air across my FMIC when I might need it.
