Is anybody elses high pressure pump really loud? I have no exhaust on mine and I can hear it whining over the exaust


check the gasket between the top of the tank and the sending unit.
was having the same loud pump, dropped the tank and replaced the gasket with a good one, and alls quiet now!

might i suggest you replace the freeze plugs (casting plugs) ! theres also a larger one behind the bellhousing. unless they were replaced recently.

I cut it all out, but left the vertical part about an inch above where the wires are grounded. Got it all done but the wiring, but i cant figure out how to keep the bottom from moving(doesnt stay stationary, keeps wanting to pop out ) I will be working on it again tomorrow, also mounting an intercoo...

is there a writeup on this? i have read Brads install, but i need to know how much i need to cut. dont want to cut out anymore than is needed. checked here and on MS. lots of finished pics, but nothing about cutting. will be doing the FG cossie bumper soon, so a link to that would be great too. thanks

Does anyone know of a place I can get a 90 degree rotated intake WITH the EGR? The ones I'm finding are all "EGR delete" versions.
i got one that we can trade. hasnt been ported. dont need EGR in ohio. plus mines going historical this year. LMK

may have to go that route.or just use different wheels. they were one of those deals you cant pass up.
I have a set of 4 Adaptec USA 4x108 to 4x114.3 adapters with hardware, I would sell for $125 plus shipping

I have a set of Motec racing wheels that are 17x7jj, with a +42 offset. the tires are 215/50/17. i need adapters as the pattern is 4x100 and 4x114. found some spacer that will accomodate the pattern, but i dont know which size to get. still running stock strut setup for now. mainly looking to bring ...

i know we have an odd bolt pattern for the rims, will 4 lug universal fit? i dont know how many 4 lug patterns there are cause universal doesnt always mean universal.

most of the 4 lug universal patterns are 4x100, and 4x114

try swapping the TFI.
if that doesnt work, try a known good distributor.
i just had the same problem, i changed distributors.
also check your timing belt.

parking lights removal

trying to remove, without breaking anything. but the nut is rusted(no way) . whats the trick to holding the bolt head, aint no wrench or socket fittin in there. HELP

pull the spout out, set timing to 10 degrees, plug spout back in, should advance to about 30 degrees.
maybe set the timing to 30 degrees with the spout plugged in, see what happens.

the dowel pins align the pressure plate. the clutch is aligned with the alignment tool(usually included with the purchase of the clutch kit).
