i know we have an odd bolt pattern for the rims, will 4 lug universal fit? i dont know how many 4 lug patterns there are cause universal doesnt always mean universal.

most of the 4 lug universal patterns are 4x100, and 4x114

try swapping the TFI.
if that doesnt work, try a known good distributor.
i just had the same problem, i changed distributors.
also check your timing belt.

parking lights removal

trying to remove, without breaking anything. but the nut is rusted(no way) . whats the trick to holding the bolt head, aint no wrench or socket fittin in there. HELP

pull the spout out, set timing to 10 degrees, plug spout back in, should advance to about 30 degrees.
maybe set the timing to 30 degrees with the spout plugged in, see what happens.

the dowel pins align the pressure plate. the clutch is aligned with the alignment tool(usually included with the purchase of the clutch kit).

but you can and should get rid of that hood insulation.
just out of curiosity, why should i remove the liner?
I think you can use the shorter IAC off one of the later fords
which later fords are we talking about, as ill get one and see if it helps?

i am installing a rotated intake to my new motor, as im sure you all know that the throttle linkage hits the hood liner. so i cut a piece out of the hood liner for the linkage, seems to be fine except now the IAC is hitting. my question is, can the IAC be mounted backwards? doesnt look like it can a...

i passed on the ones at the JY. called the local dealership, and they had the cam/aux gear for $18.62{but could only source 1}, and crank gear for $13.17. thats a whole lot better, + brand spanking new. found the other cam/aux gear at a different JY for $10.70. still need the 2 belt serpentine crank...

round tooth timing gears

found a set today, in a 93 ranger. they want $50 and i pull them. does this seem abit high? if the price is about right, im going back.
they also want $25 for a 2 belt serpentine crank pulley.
