Yeah, I was thinking more along the lines of modifying the existing shifter. Was looking at a T5 and T9 shifter's last night at Tony W's place last night. Does anyone make a T9 shifter that would move the shifter handle back more? I'm a tall guy so my seat is moved all the way back and I really have to reach for the shifter. To the extent that I can feel some tennis elbow starting up. I'm also thinking about modifying the stock shifter to accept a aft...

The motor I picked up had the 3 groove crank pulley. Works just fine.

I have to admit that on the old set up, once I sandblasted all the old belt build up off, it worked fine also. I sandblasted the water pump pulley and the crank pulley.

Well, after replacing the engine, all the sensors on the engine, coil, ECU, vacuum lines, and the VAM, it turns out the fix was the replacing the baro sensor.

I'm very glad I got all the extra parts when I picked up that motor.

I'd also join up over at TurboFord.net. Do some searching over there. Lot's of good info.

I'd do a quick search and see what you find out.

Then I'd ask some specific questions.

To run a PE, don't you also need a large VAM?

I've got a PE on loan from a buddy, just waiting on getting the air filter set up for the large VAM.

I asked Russ at Rapido about the Starplate stuff since he still had it listed on his website but it's no longer available. HOWEVER, he does have something that replaced it. I think it was about $20 for the bottle. It looks like a large bottle of shoe polish. You apply it like shoe polish also. Night...

My car is a 5 speed with an auto radiator. It was already swapped when I got the car. It appears they just swapped in the auto radiator hoses and put some T's in place. I can send you some pics of my set up if that'd help you out. The lower tube is totally gone on my car. I'd check out Merkur Midwes...

My experience with a hand pump was getting about 3/4 quart out, give or take. As for T9 specs: 2.64 pints or 1.25 liters. And that's about exactly how much I got out last night! I'll probably do it a few more times to get as much fresh stuff in there. From the drive home last night, it seems easier...

Oh yeah, I'm aware of the drain / fill method.

Going to try to get out as much as possible.
