Well, I've gotten one lifter out already but I've only tried one. :)

I'm going to try to replace all the lifters if I can.

Installing Ranger roller Cam

OK, in the quest to quiet down my valve train, I've started the process of removing the stock cam and going to install a Ranger roller Cam. I'm also planning on replacing the valve seals while I am in there along with the timing belt & tensioner. Do I need to get Ranger lifters or just get norma...

On my Merk, when you go to start it, one time it will run great, make full boost, and run like I expect it to. The next time I go to start it, it might just only crank and not start or it will start and run like crap. Well, when it does that, I immediately shut it off and restart it. It generally ru...

My buddy who drove it back had the title and bill of sale with him.

So if we got stopped, we'd just show them the paperwork and say we'd just bought the car and are taking it home.

However, we had no issues other than my buddy going deaf from the open exhaust!

Well, I've done a few more things to the car and found out a few things about it. Replaced the Motorcraft PCV valve with a new Motorcraft PCV valve. Removed the throttle body and cleaned it all up. Also cleaned up the IAC. Set the idle speed and the TPS. Removed the rear carpeting and dried the insu...

Flat Bottomed Steering Wheel?

So does any one have a recommendation for a flat bottomed steering wheel?

It would be nice for a little more room while getting in and out of the car.

Thanks!

Cool, thanks.

I've got to go and pick up my PCV valve, thermostat and gasket at lunch today. I'll get a VC gasket then too.
