After the rebuild - G-POP Shops Performance rebuild - which is their basic rebuild plus some Heavy Duty parts, a new waste gate actuator and the new exhaust housing, my XR runs much stronger than I remember it running in years. I guess that performance degradation can creep up on you! Now if I can o...

I highly recommend that you use the "cut the box" method to R&R the blower motor when you find one. A lot less work, you don't open the a/c system and if you do it carefully its hard to tell! I believe the procedure is on the merkur encyclopedia website.

Leesburg is about 2.5 to 3 hrs NW of Richmond, Rt 15 goes right through it and up to Camp Hill where the hotel is at. I would like to leave there around 10am - the breakfast offer is still available.

Anyone up for a convoy from Northern VA?

Anyone up for a CONVOY on Friday Morning? We would meet in Leesburg at the HAMPTON INN & SUITES for a free breakfast (donated my my lovely bride) around 9am and depart around 10am heading to Carlisle via Route 15 through Thurmont perhaps stopping to pick up some merkurites there.
