Mine doesn't and I've hit a curb hard enough to bend the sway bar  To me it looks like you(or PO if your not orig owner) hit a rock in the highway, or a REALY large pothole. I have been running for a year(against even my better judgment) with bad sway bar to tca bushings and don't have that k...

OK last stupid question....how do you go about removing and reattaching the door panel? One thing to keep in mind with these and many of the screws on the XR is that they are Pozidrive head rather than Phillips head. If the screw is in there tight and/or somewhat seized, you really need the correct...

Some light at the end of the tunnel: http://www.autoblog.com/2007/12/20/sorry-carb-epa-says-states-cant-regulate-their-own-emissions/ Yeah I jumped for joy :bounce when I heard about that Right. Nobody considers what it takes to recycle just the batteries alone. They only know how to look at the he...

Re: A4LD- the differences

Also the Stang has a single solenoid VB, just like the Scorp while the late TCs(can anyone confirm the early TCs) had 2. This would also explain why there are 2 different AT EECs for the 88 TC. From www.therangerstation.com - Best I can tell from ATSG manual, the changeover date for single to dual ...

You missed the part where I said the connectors were different, I did catch that. I have to make a piece of plate that would make up the difference between the way the different tailshaft housings mount to the Xmember. I also stated that the gears were the same, no need to swap the gears. Plan is to...

Evil: you're starting to sound even greener than I am. I doubt a single Prius buyer is even aware of the damage their cars does to the environment cradle to grave... It's worse than a Hummer believe it or not

A4LD- the differences

I recently aquired an 89 N/A 2.3L Mustang A4LD. It will go into the black Scorpio as it is with fingers crossed. I have noticed differences between this and the 2.9L, and the TC 2.3 turbo(all external). First and most obvious is the tailshaft and it's housing. The TC has a weight on it's housing for...

That's been my plan from day one, for my cars. The problem is as I understand we can't even replace the mufflers/cats with anything expect stock replacement parts. I could be wrong(I hope so).

Fixed added images of articles. I looked at the links here, and compared to what I did at MSF, and they look the same. At one point CO toyed with dropping emissions all together(there's only 7 counties with emissions for now...). But since we have violated Fed standards and are on the verge of losin...

A call to arms-The end is near and not just for highemitters

Well, it looks like CO auto dealers are trying to drum up business: http://www.rockymountainnews.com/news/2007...no-to-clunkers/ And CO is also trying to become more like Calipornia: http://www.rockymountainnews.com/news/2007...es-are-the-key/ This is why I have always recommended that Folks wanting...

Probably as difficult as the Stang. There is a plastic trim piece that should be removed(though I usually don't as it breaks and is not easy to find a replacement). The plastic tabs that hold it on(in addition to the screws) typically don't break(at least not for me). The tabs are Merk specific, so ...

You'll have to look, but I can only guess that the handle is somewhat separated for the door, and not in 2 pieces, IOW the functional part did not remove itself from the frame, rather the frame is not fully attached to the door.
