I'm within your driving distance, but no leather seats - some cloth seats though.
I probably have all the door panels in leather if you end up finding seats elsewhere and need the matching door panels.
Thanks Mike I'll keep that in mind, I'd like to head your way someday anyway :)

WTB complete interior for my '86

I'm wanting a complete XR interior, I need just about everything, looking for the dark gray or black leather, prefer within a 200 mile driving distance. I want to make the car more of a daily driver than a race only car.

Re: Just got a '86 Merkur

Thanks for the comments :)
Gonna convert rear brakes to disc over the winter, I think that will help the autocrossing times a bit.

I thought about redrilling the holes in the front plate to move it up a bit more and then bend it so at least the numbers are more visible

Sweet! you got me looking forward to it!

I'm going to keep it at least another 9 months, I like working on this car and it's getting better all the time... my other cars seem too nice to do anything other than upkeep on.

Re: Just got a '86 Merkur

Wow it's been over 2 years since my last post in this thread! I changed out the V belts for a serpentine setup and cleaned up the wiring some more, getting ready for the rotated intake, turned out pretty nice and it solved a weird problem I was having... the car wouldn't turn off when it was cold! o...
