Could you possibly be more vague and make this a little more challenging? You should be able to find some diagrams to help. Do you have a digital camera you could take some pictures with? The wire near the hood, is it coming from the hood? For the hoses, look around for where they connects. Ho...

How much contact do you have with females now? :)

That would be a deal breaker for me, but good luck! It will be a GREAT experience I am sure.

WAG
yeah, i guess I just assumed it was a Forrester. I didn't really look at it real close even though I had been either standing near it or even sitting on it's bed for a couple of hours.

EDIT, err, I think I meant Outback.

Which part?

The GT's are solid axle, not IRS.

Very impressive, Pit. Was that head you had before the Essy one stock? Was it ported, polished, fitted with big valves, or anything like that? For that matter, would you mind telling us what the specs of your combo were? I'm all about the Less is More school of thought. It was an iron head. ...

yep, it can hurt torque. but when you start putting out over 100 hp/liter, drivability suffers. hit 150/liter, and you're lucky to have a powerband more than 2500 rpm wide. Wow, you might want to actually do it, then talk about it. :) For over two years I drove an xr with an Esslinger head, nice fr...

I don't think it suck's, but I do find it boring (along with most sports) to watch on TV. NASCAR races are kind of excited to go to and hear/feel the cars rumble by, I still find it a little boring though. The first NASCAR race we ever went to was Daytona, which was a good time, I just find it hard ...

Re: stock VAM

btw, looked around for a ecu or vam. Ford is a $#!%^& company and most parts shops are useless. the one exception so far is advanced auto (thanks guys). cant find a vam though. It isn't Ford's fault you don't know how to shop for an OLD car. Did you try a salvage yard or the classifieds here? I...

Re: Pony Rims??

I hope nobodyu is getting tired of me asking questions but I was wondering if a set of Mustang 87-93 pony rims will fit on a XR? If so what tire size would I be looking at? I'm assuming you do mean the 16" Pony wheels? They have been used on an XR, but I don't remember the tire size that was u...

Either get the right computer or the right vam if the mismatch really is causing you problems. Otherwise you are just pissing in the wind and not really trying anything new we weren't doing 15+ years ago.

Re: Power door locks stock?also need a hatch key/lock

I was puttin a window motor in the passenger side of my XR today, and I noticed what looks like a door lock motor in it. Did some have PDL's? I dont have keys for this car but I have a steering column in it now that has keys, I just have to change the door locks this weekend. I dont have a hatch ke...

I kinda liked the Subi taxi in the background. :)

This shop (Super Rupair in Boulder CO) also has a Brat that they use for snow removal. Has a big plow mounted on the front. For some reason the bed is cut completely off after that back tires.

Oh, and an employee there owns an XR4Ti.
