I know a couple good tuners in the area, the first that comes to mind is Phlat65 who is in Edmonds.

Where have you been hiding that? I'd have chased you down by now if I'd seen it!

My friend and I are in Midland for school. My friend lives here in Metro Detroit, but I actually live in eastern PA. Do a thorough pre-purchase inspection, compression test, etc. ... check for blown head gasket or bad turbo. Most likely, the car has 140,000 miles (maybe more). I'm curious as to how...

The Ford 5.0 is a popular and reasonably straight forward way to go. IIRC the driveline from a 93 Mustang is the best fit for a direct transplant, if you don't want to build your own. That said there's nothing wrong with a well-built 2.3T. For what you'd spend on a solid V-8 Swap you can create a gr...

There is a lot of variation in tire construction and inflation pressures to consider here as well. That said I run, and have AutoX'ed on 205/50-15's on stock wheels. The tires I chose (Federal 535's) have a very stiff sidewall so they don't tend to roll as much as some might on the same size and mou...

Welcome back from the Dark Side! Where are you stationed? You might want to consider using an A4LD from a Turbo Coupe, the gearing is pretty good and you'll get a much needed 4th! Plus it bolts right up without too much fuss. If I wasn't hell-bent on purging all the evil slushboxes from my home that...

Most contemporary mercedes and Audi rims will fit, just watch the backspacing. The factory A4 rims are a particularly nice match for the scorpio.

I just picked up an 88 in Crystal Blue myself (paint code OU) and I am really liking this color! I have also had one in Nautilus Grey (AT) pass through my hands to a good home, that was an interesting color to be sure it's almost purple!

Re: 87MY owners check in here..

After seeing a couple VINs posted up for 87MY <"early" 88> cars, I was wondering who might have the oldest one on the road at the moment. The ones I have seen so far: - 3/87 vin 900471 - blugg (this is an odd one...the sequence # is weird) - 4/87 vin 901248 - JediTalen - 4/87 vin 602753 -...
