Yeah, most of the pictures are coming up with a dash instead of the image.
Refresh my mind - what is your current spring rate / damping rate on the car? I think you'll like losing the front ARB and going to comp. struts.

Re: "Ray's AKA demonfire's XR4Ti build up"
I haven't touched the suspension. Currently looking into ways to lower rear roll center without lowering car any more. I'm going to index the timing belt in reference to the distributor pulley / cam pulley with a paint pen, and just keep an eye on them both a few times a season. Easy enough. Oh, bec...

Re: "Ray's AKA demonfire's XR4Ti build up"
So after a quick search, apparently it's common for the square teeth to jump time on higher powered cars. Live and learn. Some pictures from the last event. Took home a win, but the car was probably 50-60hp and 80-90ft lbs (or more) down on power due to the cam timing being off. http://i2.wp.com/www...

Re: "Ray's AKA demonfire's XR4Ti build up"
Car's been feeling down on power all season. Couldn't place it. I pulled 1 degree of timing and added 3 points in fuel under low rpm high load (100kPa up, 2300-3600) but that shouldn't have taken my car's ability to melt tires away. So after yesterday's autocross (first in class but the class was ti...

Re: "Ray's AKA demonfire's XR4Ti build up"
No, ordered from bilstein with compression/ rebound rates changed based on the cars weight, spring rates, etc. the JVAB ones are a great alternative but a bit softer than this car's purpose (not valved for springs this heavy / track use only / etc) Just a note: The JVABs are valved and made to leng...

Awesome progress! I wonder what cracked the ears on the manifold? You could probably TIG those back together.

Re: "Ray's AKA demonfire's XR4Ti build up"
Cool, damp autocross Sunday. Temps hovered around 50 with light, misting rain most of the day. Got 1 solid dry-ish run in, enough to secure 2nd in class out of 6, and 7th overall. I'm in a pretty fast region, so 7th overall, in the wet, is something I'm rather proud of. Still impressed with the new ...

Have any videos?
I really should start doing videos. I made a few remarks to a fellow autocrosser (runs in FP) and he records most of his runs just to learn from them, get a better line, etc. Something i should probably start doing.

Re: "Ray's AKA demonfire's XR4Ti build up"
Would that i could make it, with this marking year 4 in a row, i'm on travel for work the week after. With a strange irony, i'll be 1 hour from carlisle 2 days later, but i have to take my work truck / soil demonstration stuff. I've been chatting with Anglin a little bit - about making these for us ...

I agree - XR's tend to look best in white, but that red isn't bad at all. Body looks in great shape.
