Spax adjustables
I've got the yellow spax adjustables w/ the BAT 25 mm springs. While upgrading to cosworth front suspension it became more practical to change over to coilovers to help maximize tire/wheel clearance, aside from the better caster angle. The rears are next. I can send you a picture of them as they sit...

If you are looking at doing the Spax adjustables...
I have a pair on my car that is being "refurbished." they have 30 miles on them - true. I've gone the coilover route up front and want matching shocks on the rear. Make me an offer, it'd save me the trouble of putting them for sale on Ebay eventually. PM or email would be fine - bushasterd...

4.6 Vs. 5.0
I'm not sure what the curb weights on the motors are, but I definitely agree about there being alot of bang for the buck with the 5.0 and its variations. The 4.6's are out there, and getting cheaper all the time. I took a hard look at doing a cobra 4.6 in mine before going the 331 route. The 4.6 rea...

v-8 conversion
My dealings on the v-8 swap were with Jim Deberry. His parts are by far the easiest bolt in out there. No he's not the cheapest, but his knowledge of the cars, and the merger of different v-8's is unparallelled. I recommend him to any one looking to install a v-8 in their Merk.

Eibachs & Cossie swaybars
I had eibachs on my first xr back in 98, and was living in SC at the time. I could not go over any sort of speed bump with out bottoming out the exhaust (Borla) at the time. Not cool. Second, I am under the impression the real cossie 3 dr swaybar is not going to work with the stock xr pieces, but I ...

Holy Cats Batman!!!
You weren't kidding about the fabrication - I feel better about my project now too. The V-8 is tame compared to that. BTW, a Saluki is an Egyptian hunting dog (SIU mascot), known for stamina. Insert tacky libido joke HERE...
