DAMN!!!! :shock: :shock: :shock: I'm soo sad to see this....... Settle for what you want with the insurance company......and get the other shell!!! I am in the middle of them trying to value my car. but with close to 20k in receipts it looks good. So as long as i can get $5000-$6000 and keep my car...

It was a pegasus racing junk braided brake line.. I had just earlier that day maybe 1 hour before PM'd Mike for a set of brake lines.

I had noticed something the other day when I was inspecting..

thanks for the offer.. we will see how it goes with insurance.. But I have had an xr since 1991 so it's is time to move on..

I bent the cap tight, and that seems to have sealed it off. Now there's just a bit of pressure releasing from the valve for the overflow... Double zip tied on there tight. And the oil is still a good color also. Not milky like it will turn with a blown head gasket. well you still seem to be having ...

you have to make sure the system is sealed. you want the cap to be air tight. the whole principle behind the pressure in the cooling system it to to keep the water from boiling over. you need the cap to maintain pressure, if not it will boil over causing what you are describing... it happens when ai...

sounds like you are describing the main Alt power wire 12+ (red wire) the little thin grey might be for the hood light. and the other blue\green or black\green should be the switched to start the car . It goes to the ign on the solenoid. it should be hooked up like this 1. wire coming from battery t...

how are those rear shock towers looking, easy to mod.. I will be ready next week sometime if that works for you!!!

looks like your having fun with some well built purposeful cars/trucks/jeeps .

at those power levels the gillis just wonT cut it. get a good electric one it will be money well spent.
