Not without special tools. I don't have them. My dad does but his place is in WY, and I'm too busy this weekend to get them. I can bring a spare good TFI to work with me tomorrow if you want to try that. How are your grounds and battery? I just went thru a very similar issue(including the flat spot ...

Sounds like morning sickness to me. Replace the low reverse servo seal with one for a C-6 and if it doesn't go away you need new seals, again cuz they used the wrong ones, or screwed up the install. Even when it is cold outside once evenrything is warm you should not have a slow engagement. I'll see...

yeah, i still haven't hooked up either my act or brake wires yet on my la3. as for the brake wire, i have heard that it lets the ecu know to turn up the idle so it doesn't stall. however i have not stalled yet. what makes more sense to me would be that the brake wire is there to let the ecu dump th...

With the way the VOC's have been reduced in some automotive paints over the last several years, I wonder if/how they'll make a distinction. Some of the automotive specialty paints are already equivalent (or less) to what you buy in Home Depot, from a volatile component standpoint. So back to my poi...

Re: Illegal paint buying
I don't know about you but recently I've been carded when buying paint. No jolk Same here. Never carded, but when I was younger my dad always had to buy spray paint for me because I wasn't able to. I guess kids huff it these days? I'll admit, some spray bombs smell good, but to huff it?? Umm, I'll ...

I think you're right about the W. The thread I pointed to uses 5R guts in ALOT of places that even the 4R parts were weak in. If you were to use anything other than a single solenoid A4LD, you need to have a way to control the solenoids. The A4LD-E is the 2 solenoid trans, and the 4R begins the whol...
