Re: Gnari fmic

It's also the most common design, which tells me it's not that bad. But, out of curiosity, which design would you choose?

Re: tire pressure question

Running a stock sized 15, I just go with 32 front and rear. It's an easy number to remember.

Re: Gnari fmic

I'll probably stick with the simple setup I have for the time being, but I'm very interested in purchasing that setup now that I've seen it installed, decent price too.

Gnari fmic

Just found it today. Looks legit, anyone have any experience with it? They claim it's a full bolt on setup, and even retains charcoal canister in its stock location.

Re: Rough idle

O2 is good, replaced that already, and the last time I checked the VAM, it looked like everything was good, I'll check it again in the morning. But I already have a line on a good head and cam from an svo for a good price, so I might as well get those anyway.

More info on these led bulbs! About half of mine work, and I would really like to not have to wonder how fast I'm going at night.

Re: Rough idle

I'm down to doing a compression test, again, and hoping it's either a bad head gasket or a cracked head. As those are the easier things to replace. It wouldn't surprise me if my head was cracked, it's definetly been way too hot more than once.

Re: Rear suspension geometry and anti-squat

If you're cutting up the floor, why not just cut it all out and do some tube frame design to make the whole rear end however you want? It's a lot of work, but could be worth it.

Re: Rough idle

Orange ground on the turbo housing is there, I might pop it off and clean the connection really well, and the fpr is a new one, still have the old one too, because it doesn't appear to have changed anything so it's probably not the problem... One of these days I'll figure it out.. Thanks for the sug...

Re: Hot Side Intercooler Piping

A pretty big price difference too. Yes aluminized steel is heavier, but it'll work in a pinch. Or at least until you can afford to get the aluminum piping. Plus, you'll have a back up in case something doesn't work right, or breaks later on down the road.

Re: Hot Side Intercooler Piping

I was actually just going to go to an exhaust shop and see if I could convince them to make me up some piping so I don't have to use too many couplers.

Re: Rough idle

Guess it's a good thing the weekend is getting closer. Time to go in and try everything I can to get this thing to run right.

Re: Rough idle

Sounds like there is supposed to be a ground from the battery to the AC bracket. My car originally had AC, but the previous owner removed it so I'm going to start by looking there. Any particular colors I'm looking for? I'm not exactly an electrician, but I can trace wires, maybe I'll find my culprit.
