Re: Rock Auto closeouts for parts
I just received some motor mounts yesterday from rock auto, got a really good price. pn MT2661H :D Are you sure that is the part number you got? I ask because I saw your post last week or so, last night I find that I need to order motor mounts, so I tried the number MT2661H but Rock shows nothing. ...

Re: Private Messages struggle
The whole site seems to work except those links in the notifications tab, private messages and user control panel. It tries to load until it just times out and I get site can't be reached message. I'm using a chromebook.

Re: Harbor Freight Tire Changer Upgrades
Different way to manually mount tires: https://youtube.com/shorts/yVQqAw3LmGc?si=IyfWU_UEe8D8zQHo YMMV It never went totally on. On that other video (I like that guy's youtube channel now) those reproduction fuchs and cheapie tires went together super easy. Maybe it was just that particular combo. ...

Re: Rock Auto closeouts for parts
As far as those "XR" closeout parts go, I would stay away from the wheel bearing shown (doesn't fit) you need to order the Timken, the CV axles shown, the valve cover gaskets shown, the oil filter shown, the pcv valves shown, the fuel pump strainers shown, and all those incorrect spark plu...

You can probably get a lock ring from Mike or Jeff. Or try the vinegar trick to eat away the rust.

Re: The Fall Guy
Check out the youtube videos on it from car starz. They kept destroying the jump trucks because they would nose dive super bad. The one above stays level mid-air because they built a special jump truck. It was really innovative for the time with the engine mounted in the center like more modern mons...

Thanks for the good info. I will have to order a NTE8139. I like how that has a higher rating than stock.

Re: Merkur Depot full size radiator
I never heard of a MD full size. I used to see some ebay cheapies for sale that were full size. Seems like those various brands were kinda hit or miss as far as the quality goes. That is just from reading various Honda/Toyota/Mazda internet forums. I never tried one myself.

Re: Walbro 255lph GSS340 install
I bought the kit from Stinger. The pump is not stamped Walbro but is stamped gss340. I thought that was kinda strange. I feel better using the pump from them as opposed to something purchased from amazon or similar. If it does fail you guys will be the first to know.
