Thanks, the ones that I have found online so far all have a amber strip on the outer side, the ones on my car don't have that. Do you know of a good source with a wide variation for these?

Turned out to be a broken starter motor so that the armature extend the gear further out that normal into the fly wheel!

Engine noise after T-5 install
Fired it up on jack stands and have a not nice noise just above idle seemingly coming from the starter area. New flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, pilot bearing, throw out bearing.
Any thoughts? I’ll tried to post a video but the site doesn’t like the .mov file on my phone!

I would still have my Scorpio if it had a manual gearbox instead of that POS A4ld. If you are going to do all this work consider upgrading to a T-5!

You could do what I and many other have done. Remove the stock air box, and pipe the intake through the sheet metal into the space in front of the wheel well - there is room there for a good sized K&N type cone filter. Works great and sounds good too!

I finally got a loaner pilot bearing puller from Advance Auto,but still took some effort to get it in there solid enough to pull the bearing.
