Slightly off topic but I keep seeing adjustable length Sierra LCA's on Ebay UK - anyone know if they will fit my XR (the one lowered 50mm and with the serious case of negative camber).

Cheers

I had a fire in my XR (in Ronin's driveway) due to the new 3" cat being too close to the tunnel and an accumulation of oily grunge. Excellent example of lack of thought, maintenance and care causing a fire huh  .

Brad - it looks as though the only thing holding it on are a couple of exhaust pipe "U" hangers?? If that's true I don't think it's going to be very strong - particularly as they are subject to a twisting load and not a straight pull. Make sure it's safe mon amis.

I'd like ITB's and a plenum that clears the stock hood... but that may have to wait until I get the engine running with the current manifold. :? Colin, Whats the advantage of ITB's (apart from looking different & the important cool factor)? The only think I can think of is that you would be abl...

No. Our cars were built by people who were not obsessed with the American tradition of doing anything but driving while driving. Spoken like a real man Colin (although probably one with coffee stains on his upholstery). :D I use Mikes idea of a thermos wedged between the seat & handbrake - it k...

Thanks for the info - I'll research this and let y'all know what I find. Using a Sierra as the base would mean front engine layout though and this would probably kill the character & performance of the car - maybe they do something clever though and keep the mid layout - I'll find out though. Wi...

I know I'll probably get beaten to a pulp for asking this but does anyone know of a decent kit car or replica. I'll never be able to afford a real one but I may just be able to get a glimps of the excitement via a decent kit/replica - and lets face there's probably only a handful of folks in NA who ...

Welcome aboard Candy - wish I could pick up a Scorp for that price. I love my XR's but the Scorp would make a great (and comfortable) cruiser.
